About

Meet your Broker

I’ve worked full time in Richmond’s real estate market since 2004.   I earned my Virginia Real Estate Broker’s License in 2015 and I started my own brokerage, Dettbarn Real Estate, in 2023.  During my career I’ve represented hundreds of clients.  Most of my clients have been referred from past clients, many of whom I’ve worked for multiple times.  As a lifelong Richmond resident, I know the area very well and enjoy putting my decades worth of experience and knowledge to work for Richmond natives and newcomers alike.  As the sole proprietor of Dettbarn Real Estate, my clients always receive diligent, personalized and attentive representation directly from me, their dedicated broker, not some team member, fill-in or part timer.  Every one of my clients deserves the very best of my expertise and that’s what my clients get when they hire me to work for them.

I am an alumnus of Collegiate School and the University of Virginia.  I live with my wife and our two children in Henrico County’s Tuckahoe District, barely a mile from where I grew up.  From experience, I know Richmond is an exceptional place to work and live.  Please write or call me anytime to discuss your real estate needs.
